Collection Spotlight: Monique Lhuillier - Spring 2011

(photos from style.com)

Classy and elegant.

I loooove the gorgeous, belted tea-length dresses (the last photos of sets 2 &3). The white dress would do well as a wedding dress too, I think.

Now, can we talk about the gowns? I adore all the details from the floral prints to the gathered fabric, from the sexy necklines to the sequins; every gown is just divine.

Are you a fan of Monique Lhuillier's ball gowns?

Collection Spotlight: Monique Lhuillier - Resort 2011

(photos from style.com)

Ugh...

Gorgeous, just... GORGEOUS!

I love that there are pieces that are quite simple and yet, still utterly sexy. The navy blue dress in the 3rd set is a perfect example of this.

I love all the ruffles and the sequins, the metallics and the LBD's... Oh, and those high-waisted, wide-legged trousers are just lovely. I want a pair!

Hope you all have a great weekend!

Collection Spotlight: Monique Lhuillier - Fall 2010

(all photos from: www.moniquelhuillier.com)

Well, we all know Monique Lhuillier makes beautiful dresses. But dzang, yo!

Each of these dresses, both cocktail length and full gown alike, have such beautiful details. Whatever your style, there's a dress here for you.

Now, if money were no issue and I could have whatever dress I chose, I'd pick:
- The black, one shoulder cocktail dress with gold detailing on the hem
and
- The red gown with the off the shoulder strap & silver brooch

If $ weren't an issue, which dress/es would you pick?

Collection Spotlight: Monique Lhuillier - Pre Fall 2010 Collection

The days are getting cooler already. So in anticipation for the fall weather (and as my brain is filled with thoughts of fall clothing), I'm starting a Collection Spotlight series starting with this post right here.

So without further ado, here are my favourite pieces from the Monique Lhuillier pre-fall collection:

And we must not forget what Monique Lhuillier is famous for:

GOWNS

So lovely. Add together rich colour with your requisite fall blacks & grays then mix it with feminine silhouettes and gorgeous details, and you Monique Lhuillier's pre-fall 2010 collection.

What are your favourite pieces?
